Tri-State Respirators Initiative
At the height of the pandemic, front-line health workers didn’t have access to enough PPE. I organized a group of volunteers to start a crowdfunding project that raised over $15k. Leveraging supplier contacts in China and my experience in international shipping, the funds allowed us to sourced, land, and distributed over 7300 KN95 respirators directly to hospital across NY, CT, and NJ.
We rigorously screened all suppliers to validate their face mask efficacy was demonstrated through 3rd party testing labs.
Though NYC was the epicenter of pandemic, we were supported by donations coming from all over the world.
Volunteer partners in CT and NJ helped us distribute to hospitals in their areas.
We hand-delivered masks to front-line hospitals in NYC.
Our team was driven by the heroism of healthcare workers around the world during the pandemic.
